Federal Pell Grant

Available to undergraduate students only. Administered by the Federal Pell Grant Office. Eligibility indices are determined by the Pell Grant Office based on data submitted by the applicant and/or family. Virginia State University will permit a student to receive a Federal Pell Grant for no more than the equivalent of 12 semesters. The student must be enrolled for at least 3 semester hours.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Awarded to students who have financial need. Available to undergraduate students only. Maximum award of $2,000 per academic year. FSEOG is awarded to students with the highest need levels. Priority is given to students enrolled full-time.
