Last Day to Add/Drop

Last day to add/drop a course.  Banner Student Self-service closes at 11:59 p.m. (After this day, please contact your academic adviser in order to add/drop a class)

Last Day to Withdraw from On-campus classes (Grade of “W” will be recorded)

Last day to withdraw from a course after the add/drop period with permission from your academic adviser.  Student will receive a “W” grade for the course. 

Official Withdrawal from the Term Deadline

Last day to submit an official withdrawal request from the term is the last day of exams each semester. Any requests after this date are considered retroactive and require the same conditions as a term withdrawal, but must also be initiated by the Counseling Center. 

Mandatory Attendance Verification Due in the System by Faculty (5:00 p.m.)

Last day to record attendance. Banner Faculty Self-service closes at 11:59 p.m.

Please record an (N) for non-attendance and (H) for Here in the midterm field.

It is imperative to record attendance to maintain compliance with Federal Regulations,

Validation Ends for Fall Semester

Last day to be financially cleared (Validated) each semester before being considered officially enrolled.  “Validated” means that balances have been paid in full, financial aid is sufficient to cover all cost and /or other satisfactory financial arrangements have been made and certified by the Office of Student Accounts to include participation in the tuition payment plan.

Students may verify validation status each semester by viewing the “Hold” section of their Banner Self-service account.  A “V” hold is entered for all students validated for that particular semester.
