Langston Hall

Langston Hall

Langston Hall is a co-educational residence hall originally built in the 1928–1929 school year and named for John Mercer Langston, the first president of the Virginia Normal and Collegiate Institute.

The hall has been renovated and features a main lobby for student gathering and relaxation, as well as lounges on each floor. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, mail services, and a computer lab with internet access. Langston Hall offers a variety of room types, including single and double rooms, along with suite-style options. While the building is co-educational, floors or wings are designated by gender.

The residence hall is supported by one full-time Residence Director (RD) and Resident Assistants (RAs) who assist with student support and community engagement.

This Hall is located at #11 on the Campus Map.
