Student Accessibility Office
The Student Accessibility Office (SAO), formerly the Students with Disabilities Program, provides services for academic and reasonable accommodations to students who meet program guidelines.
Academic Accommodations make it possible for a student with a disability to learn the material presented and for a professor to fairly evaluate the student’s understanding of the material without interference because of a disability.
Reasonable Accommodation is a modification or adjustment to a course, program, service, activity or facility that enables a qualified student with a disability to have an equal opportunity to attain the same level of performance or enjoy equal benefits and privileges as are available to similarly student without disabilities.
