Hi, my name is Willie Harris, III, M.Ed. (aka.) Will Harris.   I worked at WVST on two different occasions.  My first stint at WVST began when I started my radio career at WVST, June 12, 1987.  After working at WVST for eight years, I left Virginia State University, WVST to become the Program Director and Music Director for WRVS 89.9 FM at Elizabeth City State University.  After working at WRVS for two years, I transitioned from the Reserves to active duty and I  accepted a tour of duty in the United States Army.   I served sixteen years on active duty in the United States Army working in Public Affairs.  I am a retired Lieutenant Colonel, with a total of (28) twenty-eight years of service with the Army Reserve.  I earned my master's degree here at VSU and am a proud Trojan! When not working at the station, you can find me flying my drone with my son and driving my classic car.

I’m Jennifer Williamson, and I came to WVST in 1995 as News & Public Affairs Director, transitioning to Program Director five years later. A native of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, I hold a B.A. in Mass Communications and Spanish from Grambling State University, and an M.A. in Media Management. As a media professional of nearly 35 years, I’ve served as Program Director, News/Public Affairs Director, Promotions Director, and Air Personality at a number of radio stations between Richmond, Virginia, Connecticut and Louisiana, and I’ve produced syndicated entertainment features for ABC Radio Networks. I also teach audio production at Virginia State University. Aside from my media work, I act and sing, and played a small role in an independent film. Outside of VSU, I’m Vice President of the Board of Directors for non-profit Girls For A Change, for which I also perform media-related work. When I’m not working, I love the beach. When I can’t be there, I love attending concerts and other entertainment events, going to new places, and trying new things.
