The VSU Homecoming Gospel Concert To Unite Three HBCU Gospel Choirs In an Unforgettable Event

Virginia State University is thrilled to announce the performers for this year’s Homecoming Gospel Concert. The University’s world-renowned and award-winning Gospel Chorale will be joined by the gospel choirs of Norfolk State University and North Carolina A&T University for powerful musical performances on Sunday, October 6, in Daniel Gymnasium, starting at 4:00 pm.

The Gospel Concert is a cherished tradition during Homecoming Week and is the first event open to the public. VSU invites members of the surrounding community to experience the extraordinary talent of these three HBCU gospel choirs comprised of gifted and hardworking students.

“We are so excited to help kick off this year’s Homecoming theme, ‘The Hill Unleashed,’” said Perry Evans II, Choir Director for the VSU Gospel Chorale. “These students work incredibly hard to perform at the highest level, and we can’t wait to put on an amazing show that will inspire and uplift the VSU community and gospel fans alike.”

Tickets for the Gospel Concert are available online at https://payit.nelnet.net/form/5J8GZxm9. Following the concert, we invite you to continue celebrating with the Lighting of the Stadium at Rogers Stadium at 8:00 pm. The Lighting of the Stadium is free and open to the public.
