Board of Visitors Meeting Notice April 21-22, 2022
The Board of Visitors will hold its regularly scheduled meetings on Thursday-Friday, April 21-22, 2022, at the Gateway Dining and Event Center located at 2804 Martin Luther King Drive on the campus of Virginia State University. There will not be an opportunity for public comment at these meetings.

- 9:00 am – 11:30 am Academic & Student Affairs Committee
- 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm Facilities, Finance & Audit Committee
- 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Personnel, Compensation & Governance Committee
Friday, April 22, 2022
- 9:00 am – 10:00 am Institutional Advancement Committee
- 10:30 am – 3:00 pm Full Board Meeting*
*The Board will adjourn the Full Board meeting at approximately 10:45 am to attend a short groundbreaking ceremony for the Academic Commons Building. The address for the ceremony is 20921 University Avenue. Ceremony participants will gather at the Fountain of Knowledge. The Board will re-convene its meeting between 12:00 and 12:30 pm.
The meetings will be held in open and closed sessions. All start and ending times for board meetings are approximate. Meetings may begin after the listed approximate start time as members are ready to proceed. The Board reserves the right to change its schedule as necessary.
Due to continuing public health and safety concerns related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the University requests all persons to wear masks to enter the meeting space.
