You may not be aware, but VSU's Conference Services Department is responsible for all summer camps that are hosted on campus. Whether it is overnight or just a day camp, we would love to help you (or your department) in hosting a summer camp.

Conference Services is a ONE STOP SHOP! We set up your residence housing and arrange your meals. Our offices handle all financial transactions, so you won't have to worry about paying different departments at different times.  Here are the steps you need to follow to ensure that you have everything you need for your camp:

  1. Contact Conference Services at either 804-524-5775 or 804-524-5078 to give us the essential information.
  2. You will receive a quote which you will need to approve within 2 weeks of receipt.
  3. You will then receive a contract to be signed and returned with a deposit unless you are a University -sponsored camp.
  4. If you are a University-sponsored camp, then we will simply need an internal requisition with a signed contract.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Summer Camp Coordinator at any time.
