Thank you for your interest in the Continuing Education program at Virginia State University (VSU). For many years, VSU has been the leader in providing high-quality educational services to the citizens of Virginia and beyond. Continuing Education at VSU serves to bring the curriculum and research to the community, through customized courses, certificate programs, and degree pathways. By providing greater access to educational opportunities, the Office of Continuing Education helps the University in fulfilling its goal of helping to build a better world for all citizens.
Our Continuing Education program provides opportunities to further personal, professional and organizational growth. Some professions require continuing education for compliance with laws, to obtain licensure or certification, or maintain membership with a licensing body or an association. Taking courses under the Continuing Education program, the student can stay current with the latest developments, skills, and technologies required for their lives and careers.
Through the Office of Continuing Education, non-degree-seeking students are able to enroll in college courses up to 11 credit hours per semester, which is part-time and not eligible for financial aid assistance.
