Overview

UNCF’s (United Negro College Fund) Institute for Capacity Building partners with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Predominantly Black Institutions and their supporters and champions to advance the promise of Black higher education. The transformation support team ensures the success of partnering institutions through comprehensive institutional engagement in transformation strategies that lead to institutional resiliency.

UNCF has partnered with VSU Career Services to support our ongoing efforts in career counseling, job search, and coaching for undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. We are in planning phase of a career readiness course. This course will provide students with essential professional development skills and knowledge to succeed in internships, co-ops, and future careers. Topics include career exploration, job search strategies, resume/cover letter writing, interviewing, networking, workplace ethics, safety, and legal considerations.
