Student CARES ACT Funds Distributed
Distribution of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds began this week. VSU is one of the first colleges in the nation to distribute federal CARES Act funds to its students. Pell-eligible students enrolled in spring 2020 will receive $995 in emergency aid. Other Title IV students will receive $565. We have received these funds earlier than expected, and funds are being deposited into students’ bank accounts this week.
