Board of Visitors Meetings November 19-21, 2025
The Virginia State University Board of Visitors will convene its meetings on Thursday and Friday, November 20–21, 2025, on campus in the Alfred W. Harris Academic Commons Building on the first floor. On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Rector will hold a dinner at Gateway Dining & Events Center, 2nd Floor.
Board committees will meet all day Thursday and Friday morning as indicated below. These public sessions, while open to constituent attendance, are exempt from livestream as they do not qualify as Full Board meetings. No Board actions will be taken, and there will not be an opportunity for public comment.
Thursday, November 20th
- 9:00 a.m. Academic and Student Affairs Committee
- 11:15 a.m. Facilities and Finance Committee
- 1:30 p.m. Institutional Advancement Committee
- 1:30 p.m. Audit and Compliance Committee
- 2:15 p.m. Personnel, Compensation, and Governance Committee
Friday, November 21st
- 9:00 a.m. - Institutional Advancement Committee
Friday, November 21st, at 10:30 a.m., the Full Board will convene at the Alfred W. Harris Academic Commons Building, 1st Floor. The Full Board meeting will be available via live stream. There will not be an opportunity for public comment at the meeting.
