VSU Womens Basketball Ranked 11th In The Nation In Division II
The Lady Trojans hold their highest ranking in program history with an impressive 14-1 record.
Virginia State University is proud to announce that its women’s basketball team is ranked number 11 in the nation in Division II. The rankings were released today by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. This is the highest ranking in program history.
The Lady Trojans hold an impressive 14-1 record and are first in the Northern Division of the CIAA with a 6-1 conference record.
“We are so proud of our student-athletes and head coach Nadine Domond,” said Peggy Davis, VSU Associate Vice President for Athletics. “In only her second season, Coach Domond has transformed our team into not only great scholars but a group of athletes who personify the Greater at VSU. The Lady Trojans have our full support as they continue their remarkable season.”
