Virginia State University Receives High Ranking As A Best Value University For International Students

The ranking is based on the University's commitment to offering high-quality and affordable education to students from different countries.

Virginia State University is proud to announce that it ranks in the top 27% of Best Value Universities for International Students. The rankings were conducted by Study Abroad Aide, the most comprehensive database of universities in the world. This accomplishment is a testament to VSU's dedication to providing a top-notch education at an affordable cost for international students.

In addition to ranking in the top 27% of universities worldwide for Best Value for International Students, VSU ranked 18th among Best Value Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the same category. There are 107 HBCUs in the U.S.

Each year, Study Abroad Aide evaluates more than 8,000 higher educational institutions across 69 countries to identify universities that offer a strong combination of high-quality education and affordability. The Best Value University Ranking for International Students is based on a thorough evaluation of academic quality (75% of the ranking) and the cost of education (25%).

Abdullah. "This ranking speaks to the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for students from all over the world."

For the 2023-2024 academic year, VSU enrolled 44 international students from 15 different countries. The University considers this a significant achievement and a reflection of its commitment to nurturing students from diverse backgrounds pursuing higher education.
