The College of Natural and Health Sciences is committed to providing a stimulating learning environment where classroom instruction and laboratory experiences combine to prepare students for the global workforce under constant demand and rapid change due to advances in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. The College houses undergraduate programs that prepare students to become professionals who adapt to societal change, are life-long learners and understand the economic impact of innovation. All of the disciplines within the College feature depth in the major courses and substantial grounding in mathematics, natural and physical sciences, the humanities, and social sciences.

Message from the Dean

Here in the College of Natural and Health Sciences, we prepare our students to solve the challenges and problems of today and tomorrow. Through hands on curriculum and experiential learning, our outstanding faculty are training the future workforce and forming key partnerships within academia, government, and industry.

Our Mission

The goal of the College is to provide an outstanding education for students in the natural and health sciences in order to prepare them for careers in industry, research, public schools and the health professions.  Students also will be prepared to continue with further education in graduate or professional schools (medical, dental, pharmacy, physical therapy, etc.).
