Student Organizations
The Psychology Department sponsors two student organizations, the Psychology Club and the Psi Chi National Honor Society.
Membership in the Psychology Club is open to all majors. The purpose of this club is to foster and promote the academic aims of the discipline of Psychology. The Psychology Club provides a forum for which the psychology majors can interact with one another and work together to achieve common goals within an informal setting.
Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, was founded in 1929 for the purpose of promoting excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of technology. Membership in Psi Chi is for life and is open to graduate and undergraduate students who are making the study of psychology one of their major interest and demonstrate exceptional academic records.
