Undergraduate Programs
A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communications will provide students with a solid foundation to succeed in the forever changing world of communications. Our dedicated faculty and staff members have a wealth of professional expertise and creativity to share with you. They have diverse and interesting backgrounds in film, television, broadcast news, audio and music, radio, public relations and print media. Degree Requirements The curriculum for a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications requires a minimum of 120 credits, with at least 39 of those credits in a select concentration or other approved courses.

The Department of Mass Communications offers the following concentration toward a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.):
- Broadcast and Film Radio
- Audio Productions
- Public Relations Print
- Digital Media
- Sports Communications (Coming Soon)
Alongside Mass Communications, majors must satisfy the University’s general education requirements:
- ENGL 110 Composition I
- ENGL 111 Composition II
- One literature course
- One Global Studies course
- One History course
- Two Humanities courses
- Two Math courses
- Two Science courses (to include the respective lab)
- One Social Science course
- One Health and Wellness course
- One Technology course
