Educational Administration and Supervision
All candidates admitted to the Master of Science or the Master of Education (Licensure) in Educational Administration and Supervision program are working toward an endorsement as a school administrator. The Master of Science degree requires the completion of 36 hours of stated required courses, an internship, and a thesis. The Master of Education (Licensure) degree requires the completion of 36 hours of stated required courses, an internship, and a comprehensive examination. Both programs require all candidates to take and pass the School Leaders Licensure Assessment Exam prior to graduation. Candidates will take 18 hours of MED/MS in Educational Administration and Supervision core curriculum. The remaining 18 hours will be taken in 500-level courses that focus on the development of leaders of non-profit or community-based organizations.
