SPRING 2025 - Important Dates for Graduate Students
Friday, Feb 7 |
Submissions are due for the Application for the Comprehensive Exam; Application for the Master’s Project; Thesis Defense Form or Dissertation Defense Form to the College of Graduate Studies’ Portal. (Persons writing and defending a thesis/dissertation this semester should have submitted their topic forms the semester prior to defending.) |
Friday, Feb 28 |
Submissions are due for the Graduate/Doctoral Application for Graduation. Students will submit their Application for Graduation directly to the Registrar’s Office via Banner 9 Student Self-Service. (NOTE: If the student misses the deadline to submit your application to the Registrar’s Office using Banner 9 Student Self-Service, the application must be submitted to the College of Graduate Studies with all signatures (except the COGS Dean) and the third page completed using the COGS Submission link to submit. Remember, this is ONLY if you miss the February 28th deadline.) |
Friday, Apr 11 |
Last day to orally defend Thesis/Dissertation or present the Master’s project or administer the departmental oral/writing Comprehensive Exam. |
Friday, Apr 18 |
Submissions due for the FINAL Program Data Card and Curriculum Audit to the College of Graduate Studies’ Portal. |
Friday, Apr 25 |
Submissions are due for written Theses or Dissertations via ProQuest (www.etdadmin.com). Please schedule thesis or dissertation defense early enough to allow time to complete the written documents, as well as, allow time for the COGS office to review submissions for formatting. |
