Last day to submit for the comprehensive exam, Master’s project, thesis and/or
dissertation defense form to the College of Graduate Studies. Persons writing a
thesis/dissertation should have these topic cards filed the semester prior to

Last day to submit FINAL Program Data Card and Curriculum Audit Form to the
College of Graduate Studies. If the student is planning to graduate, the Program
Data Card and Curriculum Audit Form MUST be submitted in the FINAL

Friday, February 18th
|
Last day to submit Application for Graduation. This date is a week prior to when
they are due in the Registrar’s Office to prevent late submissions. If the student
plans or has the potential to graduate this semester, we recommend they file an
application for graduation to prevent any issues late in the semester. Please use

|
Last day on which oral defense of thesis, dissertation, Master’s project or
departmental oral/writing comprehensive exam can be given. |

Friday, April 15th
|
Thesis or dissertation defenses should be scheduled early enough to allow time
for corrections and formatting reviews. The final document with required
signatures must be submitted by this date (April 15, 2021). Submit the FINAL
COPY of your Thesis or Dissertation VIA EMAIL to gradstudies@vsu.edu.
