Women Leadership Conference

The Women Leaders @ HBCU Conference aims to recharge women leaders who have dedicated their lives for the betterment of Historically Black Colleges and Universities across this nation. Daily, these leaders devise and execute ways in which students, staff, and faculty can emanate excellence across all facets of academia.

While this promotes growth and stimulates innovation, the heavy lifting often leaves these leaders looking for safe spaces to be rejuvenated. Seeing this need spurred the Women’s LeadHERship Institute to develop such a summit. Here, women leaders will find new strategies for daily challenges and the camaraderie among peers who will become a sacred sister network.

On June 24–25, 2026, women leaders from across the HBCU landscape will convene at the Gateway Dining & Event Center for two days of bold strategy and forward-thinking innovation. This national gathering brings together presidents, provosts, faculty innovators, and STEM trailblazers who are shaping the future of our institutions.
Innovation by Design: The Science of HER Success frames leadership as intentional, data-informed, and future-focused. Day One, The Blueprint, sharpens identity, power, and institutional strategy. Day Two, The Science, advances conversations on AI, neuroscience, STEM ecosystems, and scalable leadership systems.
