- There is no commitment to join the Army during the basic course.
- Completion of MILS 300 summer training or Army Basic Training is required before the beginning of the Advanced Course.
- Selection for the Advanced course requires a contract to join either the Active Army or Reserve Components after graduation.
- Basic Training may be substituted at the discretion of the Professor of Military Science.
