Purpose
The focus of Male Teachers Molding Minds is to expose male candidates in Virginia State University’s Professional Education Programs to the positive aspects of teaching and mentoring.
Vision
The vision of the 3M Society (Male Teachers Molding Minds) is to provide an academic and social support system wherein our young men can learn and gain a more comprehensive understanding of their importance to the development of families, schools, and the community as a whole. Creating such an atmosphere will encourage our young men to become strong teachers and leaders that develop classroom learning environments where all students can excel and prosper.
- The young men will gain knowledge of the requirements for becoming a professional educator.
- The young men will develop the skills necessary to become leaders within their communities.
